Sedation का असर alert महसूस होने के बाद भी judgement पर रह सकता है। एक responsible adult घर ले जाए और team की सलाह के अनुसार साथ रहे। सामान्य advice में 24 घंटे driving, machinery, alcohol और महत्वपूर्ण documents signing से बचना शामिल है; अपनी hospital instructions मानें। बिना sedation वाली endoscopy में restrictions अलग हो सकती हैं।
